OK, for the freddy/fannie contributions, if you look at the top five takers, the democrats got $402749 compared to the republicans taking only $211299. No caparison at all. Period. As I said before, anyone that took more than $5,000 from those scumbags should be thrown in jail, this includes McCain and especially Obama, they are both pieces of shit that should be jailed. For every thousand dollars they took, they should see one year of jail time, nuff said.

First of all, no, their opinions are not more valuable than mine, most of their jobs depend on this “research” going on or require budget approval from politicians whose agenda requires that AGW is “accepted” and they will say anything to keep their jobs going on. My job does not depend on AGW continuing, therefore, my opinion is honest and much much more valuable.

FACTS:

The earth has been much colder and much warmer than it is right now.

The Earth has experienced MULTIPLE ICE AGES. This means it consistently gets colder(global cooling) and warmer(global warming) in cycles.

AGW depends on CO2, which only makes up 0.03% of the atmosphere causing global warming. Do you even have any clue how small of an amount that is?

Nobody knows for sure whether or not our Solar System is traveling through a part of the Universe that could be causing solar energy output to fluctuate, no one the AGW have even considered external forces to our solar system to even be a possibility.

The suns energy output could just be fluctuating on its own.

The Earth is wobbling on its axis, this has to cause some kind of global energy fluctuations.

THE CURRENT CYCLE OF GLOBAL WARMING started at the end of the last ice age, if we didn’t have global warming since then, my fucking house would still be covered by a ice cap.

You could at one time walk from Manhattan to New Jersey without having to use a boat, thanks to global warming and the melting of the ice caps, you now need a boat. You could also walk from Russia to Alaska without a boat too, but I’m in NY.

You cannot blame something that started over 10,000 years ago on man.

Therefore, it is not possible at all, not even a little, that global warming is caused by man.

Richard Dawkins points to all the different variations of species as “proof” of evolution but ignorantly rules out any existence of God, because he mistakenly assumes that our origin is from evolution or some bird brained theory that life and single-celled organism could possibly spring to life from lightning striking a puddle of mud.  This is closed minded and limited thinking.

What Mr. Dawkins and the rest of the evolution started life crowd need to open their minds to is the very real possibility of a being or entity that has powers and/or tools beyond our comprehension engineered life.   Such a being would be a Biological Engineer.

A biological engineer that created a self replicating species would want to tweak or upgrade it as time goes on and would obviously build some sort of mechanism into the species for making changes, this would look like evolution.  Another possibility, is that the creator would make the species self-adjusting to its environment, this would be true evolution.  That’s it.  William Smith

The housing bubble was caused by simple supply and demand.  The changes made to the Community Reinvestment act in 1998 forced banks to lower lending standards, this greatly increased the amount of people who could buy homes, increasing the demand. The supply could not be increased as fast as the demand, this artificial demand forced prices up. Eventually the demand was met, however, homes continued to be built at a lightning pace, greatly exceeding the demand and bursting the bubble created by the government regulations. When Supply exceeds demand, prices drop, in this case, through the floor.

Were there other factors involved? Hell yeah!  Even with these incredibly stupid regulations in place, nobody would have made these loans if Freddy and Fanny weren’t buying em up by the truckload on the secondary market.  Where’d the money come from? Our friends at the federal reserve who have been responsible for every boom bust economic cycle since their inception!   Don;t forget to include congress allowing these mortgages to be bundled together and sold as securities just so everybody could feel the pain!

How did all this affect foreclosures?  First, it increased the amount of people with bad credit scores that are least likely to pay their bills(mortgages included).  On the front side of the bubble with home values going up, these people could still sell their house when they got divorces or ran into trouble.  On the back side of bubble, that equity disappeared orturned negative.  Anyone here have any trouble selling a house with negative equity? SHORT SALES!

Didn’t anybody see this coming? How did our wise elected officials miss this? They didn’t, watch this from C-Span in 2004, but don’t get mad yet though.

Ok, now look at this list of congressmen that are receiving campaign contributions from fanny and Freddy, keep in mind that Rep Maxine Waters is a share holder in a bank that made a lot of these loans and also received over 12 million in bailout funds and that Barney Franks longtime live in Boyfriend served on either fanny or Freddie’s boards receiving a substantial unearned salary.
